Wolves in Denmark - Should We Fear Them or Understand Them? · Frivilligcenter Billund, Grindsted

Wolves in Denmark - lecture and discussion: Wednesday 25 November 2026, 19:00–21:00, Frivilligcenter Billund, Grindsted.

Since wolves returned to Denmark in 2012, Bo Håkansson has represented Danmarks Naturfredningsforening (the Danish Nature Conservation Society) in the Ministry's Wolf Group. He discusses the wolf's place in Danish nature, the work of the Wolf Group, and the Society's views on wolf management.

Among the questions he addresses: Are wolves dangerous? What is a problem wolf? Do wolf-proof fences work? And what role can wolves play in nature after around 200 years of absence?

The lecture lasts approximately 45-60 minutes, followed by a question-and-answer session. Afterwards, DN Billund holds its annual meeting with a brief update on the local chapter's work and elections to the board.

Time: 25 November, 19:00-21:00
Venue: Frivilligcenter Billund, Nymarksvej 10, Grindsted

Everyone is welcome.
