Description was written before the event

Creative fun and good vibes - no AI involved. Children get to draw a huge comic strip together on a long roll of paper.

The workshop takes place at Blågårdens Bibliotek on Saturday, October 3rd and Saturday, October 10th, both days from 10:30 to 13:00. The workshop is for all children, it is free, and no registration is required.

The event is part of "Weekend for Children" on Nørrebro - a series of free cultural and movement activities for children and their adults, held on Saturdays and Sundays in sports halls, libraries and cultural venues with support from Nørrebro Local Committee and the NØBU Foundation. In addition to Blågårdens Bibliotek, Weekend for Children also takes place at Nørrebro Bibliotek, Korsgadehallen, Nørrebrohallen, Osramhuset and Støberiet.

The full 2026 programme is updated continuously and can be found at weekendforbørn.dk.

About the venue: Blågårdens Bibliotek

Blågårdens Bibliotek sits on Blågårds Plads in the Indre Nørrebro neighbourhood and is part of the Blågården cultural complex, which also includes the cultural centre Støberiet and Korsgadehallen. The ground floor holds adult book exhibitions and a small stage area used for concerts, talks, film screenings and readings. The children's library on the first floor runs activities for nurseries, school classes and families, with free cultural events most weekends. The collection has a particular strength in comics, poetry and music.
