Community Singing: Hope, Peace and Togetherness: Thursday 5 November 2026, 11:00–12:00, Hovedbiblioteket, Viborg. Admission is free.

Thursday morning begins with singing about hope, peace and togetherness. Cultural facilitator Stine Johansen and pianist Anders Hjort Nielsen lead the session, and everyone can participate - no singing experience or prior knowledge of the songs is required. Just show up.

The event is part of a nationwide week (weeks 41-45) where libraries across Denmark focus on personal, spiritual and cultural resilience. In several places around the country, people gather to sing together and give voice and melody to a current theme.

At Viborg Main Library on Thursday, November 5th, the entire day is filled with conversations, music and activities - over 10 events take place. The day begins with the community singing.

Entry is free, but registration is required. Coffee and cake are served after the singing. The event takes place in the Skakbrættet room.
