Author Charlotte Weitze joins core members of Sorten Muld, Ulla Bendixen and Martin Ottosen, for an evening exploring two independent works that share the same historical foundation: the overlooked Danish folklorist Evald Tang Kristensen's collection of legends and songs from the heath communities in the 1860s and beyond.

Weitze's novel "Ulvemælk" and Bendixen/Ottosen's album project "Stemmer i Voks" both draw on the same historical sources, with many songs and storytellers appearing in both works. The novel also includes a future narrative about new natural conditions and AI, while the album embeds phonograph recordings of the heath communities in an acoustic/electronic soundscape.

The evening alternates between Charlotte's readings from "Ulvemælk" and songs from "Stemmer i Voks", weaving together into unified moments of words and music. Afterwards, there will be an opportunity for conversation between the three artists and the audience.
