Tove in Tones

VokalSelskabet FIRE celebrates Tove Ditlevsen's jubilee with a concert where her texts are set to four-part singing. The programme consists of 10-15 a cappella works by various composers, alternating with readings from her advice column letters and responses.

During the performance, the singers move around the room and envelop the audience with sound. FIRE is Julie Borgwardt-Stampe, Katrin Helene Kuslap, Mia Bergström and Kristine Gether - all regular members of the DR Concert Choir and the Royal Opera Choir.

The concert lasts approximately one hour and is arranged in collaboration between Kulturhuset Bispen, Haderslev Music Association, Grænseforeningen and Sprogforeningen.
