Ada Lovelace Day
Ada Lovelace Day celebrates diversity in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math) and honors Ada Lovelace, who wrote the world's first computer program in 1843. Today's activity is the workshop "Future Mirror", where we explore positive visions of the future.
We start with brainstorming, choose something from the future, and build a prototype from recycled materials. Afterwards, we use artificial intelligence to create a future image of the prototype, and along the way we learn how to prompt generative AI.
Bring a computer, tablet, or mobile phone, and preferably a recycled material for your future mirror - for example a milk carton, cardboard box, bottle caps, or a toilet roll. The workshop is for ages 10-15.
Snacks and juice are served, and no registration is required.
