Kulturnatten 2026 - The Story of Vor Frelsers Kirke

Vor Frelsers Kirke opens its doors to the church and tower during Kulturnatten 2026.

The church interior, dating from 1696, can be explored at your own pace while stories about the church's history set the scene. There is also a drawing table where children and adults can colour illustrations from the church. The church interior is open from 18:00 to 22:00.

Every hour, the Elefantorglet organ fills the church with Baroque music at 18:30, 19:30, 20:30 and 21:30.

With a Kulturpas, you can visit the iconic tower from 18:00 until midnight and enjoy the view over the city. As you climb the 400 steps, you can listen to an audio story that takes you back in time - remember to bring your own headphones.
