LYDSKOLEN - Music Production for Girls

LYDSKOLEN music production workshop: Thursday 5 November 2026, 16:30–19:30, Krudttønden, Copenhagen. Admission is free.

LYDSKOLEN is an opportunity for young girls and gender minorities aged 14-26 to explore digital music production in a safe and collaborative environment. You'll get a hands-on introduction to creating and recording your own music - from recording and using electronic instruments to mixing and exporting sound.

Throughout the workshop you'll work on your own project and receive guidance from an experienced music producer who walks you through the process. There's room to ask questions and try out ideas, whether you're completely new to this or have some experience already.

The workshop is part of the Spil Dansk initiative, which works to make Denmark's music scene more diverse and open to new voices. After the workshop you'll get access to an online community with previous participants and extra resources, so you can continue your musical development.
