What themes have shaped the books of 2026 - and what should you read if you're looking for inspiration for your next great book?

Silkeborg Libraries' reading enthusiasts Frederik, Anne and Britt have read a large selection of this year's publications and offer their recommendations. They present a selection of their best reading experiences and explain why these particular books are worth diving into.

Most of the books are literary fiction, supplemented with a few essays, poems and non-fiction.

There will be a break with coffee and cake. The event takes place in the Great Hall.
