On October 8, Arternes Ambassadører and Maria Viftrup invite you to a zine club behind ENGEN - Cultural Centre and Library in Vejle, with nature as the focal point.

The club welcomes everyone who wants to rebel or show care for nature - whether you draw, write, collect things, or are simply curious. No experience with making zines is required: a zine is simply a small, handmade and photocopied booklet that can be about anything.

The event takes place in the orange cabin behind ENGEN, Willy Sørensens Plads 1, 7100 Vejle, on October 8 from 15:30 to 17:30. The host is resident artist Maria Viftrup, who is attached to the construction site at Vejle Library. Registration is done by writing to maria@viftrup.com.

Arternes Ambassadører is a nationwide association that supports wildlife ambassadors' work to promote wild nature in Denmark.

About the venue: Vejle Bibliotek

Vejle Bibliotek is currently housed in a temporary branch called Farveriet, next to Spinderihallerne, while a new library and cultural centre - Engen Kulturhus og Bibliotek - is being built at Willy Sørensens Plads, due to open in 2026. The branch serves mainly adults and young people, offering book loans, reservations, printing, meeting rooms and a lecture hall. Throughout the year it hosts author events, courses and workshops in collaboration with the local cultural scene.
