About the venue

Vejle Bibliotek is currently housed in a temporary branch called Farveriet, next to Spinderihallerne, while a new library and cultural centre - Engen Kulturhus og Bibliotek - is being built at Willy Sørensens Plads, due to open in 2026. The branch serves mainly adults and young people, offering book loans, reservations, printing, meeting rooms and a lecture hall. Throughout the year it hosts author events, courses and workshops in collaboration with the local cultural scene.
