Christmas Concert

Christmas Concert with Gorm Bull: 11 December – 17 December 2026, Kollerup Mølle, Hadsten. Tickets cost 160 kr.

Most people know Kim Larsen's songs, but here they are interpreted with a calm and personality that is rare. Singer and guitarist Gorm Bull performs with saxophonist Niels Mathiasen (Gnags, Kim Larsen, Thomas Helmig) and Palle Hjorth (Peter Sommer, Poul Krebs) - a trio with thousands of concerts behind them, who don't just recreate the past but give the songs new life.

Gorm Bull never tries to copy Kim Larsen. Instead, he seeks the heart of the songs and gives them room to breathe, so the interpretations stand fresh and present. He is considered one of the country's finest interpreters and likes to share an anecdote or two along the way.

Niels Mathiasen's saxophone brings warmth, melancholy and Christmas spirit - he himself played with Kim Larsen on the tour "Cirkus Himmelblå" and on the album "Forklædt Som Voksen", which celebrates its 40th anniversary this year. Palle Hjorth, who for decades has played with among others Savage Rose, Peter Sommer and Poul Krebs, contributes an expression that makes the trio's sound universe entirely their own - a universe with room for both joy, melancholy and winter peace.

Via the platform larsenit.dk, the audience can request songs and share stories, which makes each concert unique. On stage stands a Bornholm clock that changes expression throughout the evening and looks like a Christmas tree.

The programme moves through Kim Larsen's winter and Christmas universe: songs such as Glemmebogen, selected songs from the Gasolin' era and solo classics from Værsgo, Forklædt som voksen and Midt om natten.
