Kuno Kjærbye: Come Closer to the Music: Wednesday 28 October 2026, 19:00–20:00, Koncertkapellet, Roskilde.

Composer Kuno Kjærbye talks about his work Immediate Sensation, which will be performed the following week. This serves as an introduction to the concert on November 4th featuring Niklas Walentin and Christina Bjørkøe.

About the venue: Koncertkapellet

Koncertkapellet opened in May 2024 in the renovated Sankt Jørgensbjerg Kapel in Roskilde. The venue is dedicated to classical and acoustic music, with the hall designed around unamplified sound so audiences can hear performers up close. It is run by Foreningen Koncertkapellet, a non-profit founded in 2016 that holds a 30-year lease from Sankt Jørgensbjerg Kirke. The programme ranges from chamber music and choral concerts to folk music and experimental stage works.
