(af)Magt: China's New Five-Year Plan: Wednesday 28 October 2026, 17:30–19:00, Universitetsbiblioteket i Fiolstræde, Copenhagen.

(af)Magt is a lecture series organized by The Danish Foreign Policy Society U35, KU Geopolitics, and the University Library at Fiolstræde. The aim is to provide the audience with a better understanding of a confusing period in world history.

About the venue: Universitetsbiblioteket i Fiolstræde

The University Library in Fiolstræde is a historic library building from 1861, designed by architect Johan Daniel Herholdt after winning Denmark's very first architectural competition. It served as a university library for 148 years until 2009, then reopened in October 2023 as a public venue for the University of Copenhagen. The centrepiece is a two-storey reading hall with cast-iron structures; today the building hosts research outreach, exhibitions and public events.
