Saturday Rhythmics for 2-4 Year-Olds

Saturday Rhythmics is an hour of song, music and dance for the youngest children.

The instructor is Daggrós, who comes from Iceland. She is a trained rhythmics pedagogue from the Rhythmics Institute (1996) and has also completed further education in music, play and movement at the music conservatory with Lotte Kærså and Inger Zahle. She runs Rhythmics House, where she teaches parent-child rhythmics classes for children from 3 months to 3 years, and also offers further training in the field. She has previously worked at numerous institutions, libraries, cultural centres and schools on musical, motor and language projects for children.

The programme is for children aged 2-4 years. A ticket costs 60 kr. and covers one child and one adult; additional child or adult tickets can be purchased. Late arrivals cannot participate.

Saturday Rhythmics takes place in Helgasalen on the 1st floor of the children's library at Vesterbro Library and Cultural Centre. For fire safety reasons, prams and pushchairs cannot be parked in the children's library corridor - use the library rooms instead.
