TAG OVER - Opening of Kunstcentralen: Wednesday 14 October 2026, 17:00–21:30, Middelgrundsfortet, Copenhagen. Admission is free.

TAG OVER is an invitation for young people who want to create and work creatively at the historic Middelgrundsfort. Every other Wednesday (in even weeks) we invite young people out to the island to take over and become part of the community. The aim is to provide space for youth engagement and creative ideas, and you can use the island's materials, resources and unique location for whatever you dream of - from project feedback and idea development to knitting, sewing, building, repairing or maintaining.

It is an informal and open format. If you want to facilitate something at a TAG OVER evening, you can write to us with your ideas. There are always youth hosts present if you need help getting started, and on the island you will find, among other things, a ceramics studio, sound studio, library and workshops. It is free to participate, and dinner, snacks and sailing are included.

On Wednesday 14 October we are opening the island's new venue, Kunstcentralen - a creative and artistic space where engaged people on the island can turn their ideas into reality. The space will be used for TAG OVER events and serve as a meeting place for creative ideas. The same evening, Natasha, who has been involved on the island from the start, will hold a ring-making workshop where old cutlery is upcycled into new jewellery.

Schedule: 17:00 ferry departure from Nyhavn 71, 17:40 arrival on the island, 18:00 communal dinner, 18:30 project time at the fort, 21:00 departure to land and 21:40 arrival back at Nyhavn. Times may vary from time to time - we will notify you of any changes. We meet at Nyhavn 71 and sail together to Ungdomsøen, so dress for the weather.
