Workshop at BIBLIOTEKET - Cyanotype - Large and Small Formats

Cyanotype workshop - large and small formats: Sunday 25 October 2026, 10:00–16:00, BIBLIOTEKET Rentemestervej, Copenhagen. Tickets cost 950 kr.

A full Sunday workshop in cyanotype photography, suitable for both beginners and experienced practitioners. Work with large formats using the studio's UV light box (up to 50x70 poster size, 30-minute exposure) and smaller formats while waiting.

The day begins with an introduction to the technique, its history, and examples of cyanotype's creative possibilities. You'll then have plenty of time to experiment with your own subjects. The studio provides various materials to supplement your own, and you'll learn how to build your own UV light box for future use. BIBLIOTEKET has printers available so you can print your own photos for the workshop.

Bring your own: clothing that can handle a stain or two, watercolor paper in various qualities (cardboard also works), dried/pressed flowers, flat objects or other motifs you want to use, and photos you'd like to work with digitally (on USB stick, laptop, or phone).

Material cost: 100 kr. for 4 sheets of 50x70 paper plus printing costs. Coffee, tea, and light refreshments included. Lunch available for purchase at FLOKK (FLERE FUGLE's sister café) on the ground floor. After the workshop, you can buy materials at a 20% workshop discount.
