Pottery Wheel Workshop - Course with Tina Marie Bentsen

Pottery Wheel Workshop with Tina Marie Bentsen: 28 October – 2 December 2026, Vesterbro Bibliotek og Kulturhus, Copenhagen. Tickets cost 1920 kr.

This course is for anyone who wants to explore ceramics and work hands-on with clay. No prior experience is needed, but you should be prepared to practice and be patient with the process.

Teaching alternates between group demonstrations and individual guidance. You will be introduced to fundamental wheel-throwing and trimming techniques, as well as various glazing approaches. Throughout the course, you will develop a solid understanding of the craft through ongoing work with materials, tools, and technical methods. Safety and good workshop practices are emphasized so everyone can work confidently and responsibly with clay and glazes.

Instructor Tina Marie graduated from Designskolen Kolding in 2005 and has since worked at various shared studios. Today she runs her own studio and shop at Vesterbrogade 175. She has previously taught at several institutions, including Keramikskolen on Østerbro in Copenhagen and Glas og Keramikskolen on Bornholm. In her daily work, she creates both functional pieces and unique stoneware works, emphasizing the interplay between form, proportions, and the colors and textures of glazes.
