SC Open Mic - Readings of New Texts

SC Open Mic - New Text Readings: Tuesday 3 November 2026, 15:00–17:00, Kulturstationen Vanløse, Copenhagen. Admission is free.

SC Open Mic is an open literary event where writers from SkriveCirklen and Skolen for Skabertrang read their own texts. The audience can listen and encounter a wide range of voices, genres, and expressions in an informal setting.

The event is also open to you if you write and want to read aloud. Readers register in advance, but if there are free slots on the day, you can also sign up at the entrance. Each event accommodates up to 20 readings, divided into three sets with short breaks between them, and each reading can last a maximum of five minutes.

SC Open Mic is for everyone interested in literature and text, regardless of experience, age, or background. The afternoon offers space for both immersion and inspiration, and for meeting others curious about words and stories - you can share, listen, and be part of a literary community.

It is free to participate, and you can just show up - preferably with a friend or partner. If you want to read yourself, you can register by emailing skrivecirklen@gmail.com. The Open Mic series is supported by Vanløse Lokaludvalg.
