Pearl Workshop: Emergency Friends

Pearl Workshop: Emergency Friends: Wednesday 14 October 2026, 11:00–16:00, Hovedbiblioteket, Aarhus. Admission is free.

DR's Emergency Friends programme hosts a pearl workshop where you can make a friendship bracelet for someone you want to help - or reach out to yourself. At the large bead station, both children and adults create their own bracelet while learning about one of the most important things in a crisis: having each other.

The workshop is part of the theme day "Together on Emergency Preparedness", which the library arranges together with DR, Dansk Folkeoplysnings Samråd, and Østifterne. Throughout the day, the library fills with lectures, activities and conversations about emergency preparedness. Some activities require a free ticket, so keep an eye on the programme, which is continuously published on aakb.dk and on Facebook.

The workshop takes place in the children's library. Information about Dokk1, including accessibility for people with disabilities and parking, can be found at https://dokk1.dk/planlaeg-dit-besoeg
