All correspondence with refugees is conducted in Danish, but the municipality lacks resources to help people understand the letters. A group of volunteers from the Danish Refugee Council has therefore set up free counselling at Grenaa Library.

Here refugees can get help filling out applications for family reunification, extension of residence permits, and passports - as well as understanding letters from authorities.
