Ceramic Course - Hand Modelling

Ceramic hand modelling course: Tuesday 27 October 2026, 17:30–21:00, ZIR kunst- og kreafællesskabet, Copenhagen. Tickets cost 200 kr.

In this ceramic course, you work with stoneware and hand modelling. Since it's around Halloween, you can make spooky cups or wall hangings - or go for Christmas decorations, as the ceramics will be ready for pickup at the end of November. Instructor Josephine Soline guides you through various hand modelling techniques, so no prior ceramic experience is needed.

Afterwards, you choose from three glaze colours. Josephine Soline handles the firing and glazing of your creations, but since the ceramics need to dry and be fired twice, it can take up to a month and a half before they're finished.

The course includes clay, tools, glaze firing and coffee. Beer, soft drinks and wine can be purchased at the workshop.
