Bokassa [NO] + Support: TBA
Spillestedet Stengade, Copenhagen · 155 kr. · ≈ 21 €
Bokassa live at Stengade: 7 May – 8 May 2027, Spillestedet Stengade, Copenhagen. Tickets cost 155 kr.
Norwegian stonerpunk trio Bokassa is touring Europe, the UK, and their home country Norway to celebrate their fifth studio album, "Anomalies". The band freely blends punk, metal, and rock into their own stonerpunk sound, making them difficult to categorize. They have toured with bands as diverse as Clutch, Lagwagon, Therapy?, and Mastodon. In 2019, they were picked out of relative obscurity by Lars Ulrich to support Metallica at stadiums across Europe, the UK, and Russia - Ulrich called them his "new favorite band" at the time. Since then, they have been nominated for a Norwegian Grammy, won the Bendiksen Prize for their live concerts, and released four more albums, including "All Out of Dreams" from 2024, which Kerrang described as packed with "absolute bangers".
The new album "Anomalies" is produced by two-time Grammy winner Adrian Bushby (known from Foo Fighters, Muse, The Darkness) and mastered by George Perks (Enter Shikari, Skindred). It will be released on vinyl, CD, and streaming on March 12, 2027.
Support is not yet announced (TBA).
Tickets: 155 kr. in advance / 175 kr. at the door. Doors open at 20:00.
