Birgitte Possing: About 'Klangbunden i mig' · Christianshavns Bibliotek, Copenhagen

Free entry

Birgitte Possing on Klangbunden i mig: Tuesday 20 October 2026, 19:00–20:00, Christianshavns Bibliotek, Copenhagen. Admission is free.

Birgitte Possing shares stories and photographs from her archival research, including material from Christianshavn Local Archive.

In 2025, her book 'Klangbunden i mig' was published. It began with hidden letters discovered in a shoebox, leading her on an existential and cultural-historical journey spanning an entire century, two world wars, and travels around the world and back home. The book tells the story of the author's own family across four generations, and how the larger history intertwined with their search, faith, and doubt - and what traces it left in her own life.
