Store VEGA is the main concert hall at VEGA - Musikkens Hus in the Vesterbro district, which opened in 1996 as part of Copenhagen's year as European Capital of Culture. The building dates from 1956 and was designed by architect Vilhelm Lauritzen - also responsible for the Radiohuset - under the name Folkets Hus; it is now a listed building.
