First Meeting of New Writing Club at Valby Library

Poets' Club - first meeting: Tuesday 20 October 2026, 17:00–19:00, Valby Bibliotek, Copenhagen. Admission is free.

Poeternes Klub holds its first meeting at Valby Library. The volunteer coordinator describes the club: "Poeternes Klub is a creative community where we not only write, but also read and discuss literature across different genres. We find inspiration in each other, and through feedback we can develop our own writing. The texts open up conversations, new perspectives and ideas that we can carry forward in our own writing." The club meets once a month from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the library.

The library supports the initiative with coffee and tea, facilities, advice and mentoring - it is the library's first writing club for adults. At the first meeting, contact person Mads will be present, so the meeting will end by 7 p.m.

The club is open to all adults, regardless of age, gender, political or religious belief.
