Guided shared reading and shared lunch

On the occasion of Denmark Eats Together, Hvalsø Cultural Centre and Library are hosting a morning for people with dementia and their relatives.

While people with dementia participate in guided shared reading, their relatives prepare lunch together with local chef Eline Lynge. Afterwards, everyone eats together.

Time: Monday, 2 November, 10:30-12:30
Location: Hvalsø Library and Cultural Centre, Skolevej 12, 4330 Hvalsø

Guided shared reading is a quiet way to meet about literature. Participants receive a text and listen while a reading guide reads aloud, and along the way you can - entirely voluntarily - share the thoughts and feelings the text awakens. It requires neither preparation nor reading experience, only a desire to participate.

The event is free, but places are limited to 20 participants. Registration must be completed by 19 October with Kathrine Norsk, Brobygger, by email brobygger@lejre.dk or phone 21 80 35 41.
