WORKING WHILE DISABLED ~ Workshop with Anna Walther and Tone Ottilie

Working While Disabled workshop: Thursday 22 October 2026, 12:00–14:00, Islands Brygge Bibliotek, Copenhagen. Admission is free.

On Thursday, October 22, visual artist Anna Walther and author Tone Ottilie host the workshop WORKING WHILE DISABLED at Islands Brygge Kulturhus. The workshop is part of the group exhibition IN PROTEST AND IN CARE.

Participants explore what it is like to live with a disability while working. The workshop creates space for imagining possible and better futures, for anger, and for sharing crip wisdom and hacks among participants. The relationship between disability and work - whether creative work, manual work, emotional labour, self-care, or the administrative work that comes with simply staying alive - is a complex field, and the workshop provides room to meet as crips and talk about it.

The workshop is grounded in disability experiences understood broadly: physical, sensory, and mental disabilities, chronic illness, madness, and/or neurodivergence. Anyone who identifies as disabled in any way is welcome, and you do not need to work in a capitalist sense to participate.

Participation is free, and the workshop is held in both English and Danish.
