Proud Phoenix Comedy Showcase

Proud Phoenix Comedy Showcase: Friday 30 October 2026, 19:00–20:30, Proud Mary Pub Copenhagen, Copenhagen. Tickets cost 125–175 kr.

Proud Phoenix Comedy Showcase is the new monthly edition of Proud Mary's former Monday show, where stand-up comedians tested new material. Back then the show was free; now it requires a ticket - but the concept remains the same: three selected comedians performing their best, polished material.

The first night features Elise Smidt, Derek Hartman, and Ulug Bek. Elise Smidt is a Dutch-German comedian, model, and content creator known as @elise_unhinged with over 100,000 TikTok followers, and co-owner of Nørrebro Comedy Cellar - Copenhagen's only English-language comedy club. Derek Hartman is an American comedian who has lived in Copenhagen since 2017 and builds his shows around life as a foreigner in Denmark; he has performed across Europe and the USA and also hosts the podcast "What Are You Doing in Denmark?". Ulug Bek is from Uzbekistan, studied in Sweden, and settled in Denmark, where he cycles, sorts waste, and still struggles with the language. He has toured Denmark with over 20 sold-out performances of "ALMOST DANES" and "ALMOST DANES 2" alongside Kriti Prajapati and Adrian Mackinder, and has also performed at Fringe festivals across the Nordic region.

The show takes place Friday, October 30, 2026 at Proud Mary in Copenhagen - and the comedians may possibly show up in Halloween costumes. Tickets are now on sale in limited numbers as Super Early Bird and Early Bird, so the price increases when those batches sell out.

Please arrive in good time for ticket check, seating, and a drink before the show starts. Late arrival may mean waiting for an appropriate break to be let in, so there is a risk of missing part of the performance.
