Silent Book Club

Silent Book Club in English: Saturday 28 November 2026, 11:00–12:15, Vesterbro Bibliotek og Kulturhus, Copenhagen. Admission is free.

Vesterbro Library hosts Silent Book Club throughout the autumn. It's an English-language book club, and you don't need to have read anything in advance. Bring the book you're currently reading - in whatever language you're reading it - grab a cup of coffee at the library, and spend time in quiet, cosy reading together with others.

The meeting is structured in phases: the first 15 minutes are for settling in and telling each other what you're reading. Then comes 45 minutes of uninterrupted, silent reading, followed by 10 minutes for free journaling. Finally, there's time to exchange book recommendations and chat a bit if you'd like.

The book club meets on the ground floor in the large room with fiction to the left. No registration is required to participate.
