Petra Nagel: Work Life, Family Life and Modern Responsibility — Biblioteket i Hornslet, Hornslet

Journalist and TV host Petra Nagel (born 1984) gives a lecture about the pressure that comes with managing everything at once - as an employee, parent, and a person with a functioning inner life.

She draws on her own experiences as a working parent and questions whether balance is something an individual can solve alone - or whether the answer lies rather in the structures and expectations that surround us. Through concrete examples, she explores how workplace culture and society's demands take hold in our bodies, even when everything appears to be going well. The lecture is aimed at both employees and managers and invites shared reflection.

Petra Nagel is among other things the author of "Things I Learned When It Was Too Late: A Field Guide to Adulthood".

The event is organized in collaboration with FOF Djursland, which also handles ticket sales. Note: Unnumbered seating.
