Lisa Kappe is an art educator who demonstrates the techniques of visible mending, where repair becomes a visible element in clothing. She has worked with garment repair, visible mending, and textile craftsmanship for six years.

According to Kappe, repair is both a practical skill and a creative process. It can also give the clothes we already own new stories.

Bring a piece of clothing with you so you can work with needle and thread yourself.

The event takes place in the Krea room on the 1st floor of the children's library.
