Books of the Year 2026 - Gevninge

Books of the Year 2026: Tuesday 19 January 2027, 19:00–21:00, Gevninge Kulturhus Bibliotek og Beboerhus, Roskilde. Tickets cost 20 kr.

Lejre Library & Archive has spent over 10 years collecting the best publications of each year in a librarians' selection. This year, the librarians share their favourite books from 2026.

The event takes place at the Library at Lejre Station on Thursday, 14 January, 7-9 pm. Marie and Helen present a broad selection of this year's novels and crime fiction, with time also for a look at new non-fiction and adult graphic novels.

Are you curious about which themes have shaped the books of 2026? Or do you need suggestions for what you or your reading group should read next? Then this evening is perfect for you. The librarians have read many of the latest releases, selected their best reading experiences, and will explain why these books are worth reading.

There will be a break with coffee and cake.
