Jette Torp: And There Must Be Knitting...

While the audience knits or crochets, Jette Torp sings and plays songs that hold special meaning for her - and tells stories from her life and reads passages from books on her bookshelf. The programme draws on songs and text excerpts from, among others, Ida Jessen, The Carpenters, Marianne Fredriksson, Stine Pilgaard, Carl Nielsen and Anne Linnet.

You don't need to bring handwork to participate - it's perfectly fine to show up without, as long as you're prepared to sit surrounded by colourful yarn and clicking needles.

Duration: 2 x 45 minutes with a break in between. The event is part of the theme "Immerse Yourself at the Library" and is arranged in collaboration with MantziusLive.
