Jette Torp: And There Must Be Knitting...

Jette Torp brings her concert "Og der må strikkes …" to Birkerød Bibliotek on Wednesday, 7 October 2026 at 19:00. The library sits on Stationsvej 38, close to Birkerød S-train station, and serves as the main library for Rudersdal Bibliotekerne. During the performance, Torp sings and shares stories while the audience knits or crochets - though handwork is optional. The programme draws on songs by artists including Anne Linnet, Carl Nielsen and The Carpenters, alongside readings from authors on Torp's bookshelf. This is one of eight Danish dates on the tour. Admission is 75 kr.
