Lucia Procession and Christmas Concert: Sunday 13 December 2026, 12:00–13:00, Birkerød Bibliotek, Birkerød. Admission is free.

Sunday, December 13 is Lucia Day. On the same day, the Children's Library at Birkerød Library is transformed into Vester Kløj's Library, known from DR's Christmas calendar "The Great Christmas Story", so visitors can step into the Christmas calendar's universe.

Birkerød Church's junior and youth choir marks the day with a Lucia procession through the town. The procession ends at the library, where the choir performs a short concert with songs from "The Great Christmas Story".

Free admission.

Program:
12:00 - The Lucia procession departs from Birkegrillen.
12:30 - Christmas calendar concert in the Children's Library at Birkerød Library.
