Bedtime Stories at the Children's Library

Bedtime Stories at the Children's Library: 30 November – 14 December 2026, Vesterbro Bibliotek og Kulturhus, Copenhagen. Admission is free.

The children's librarian reads aloud from selected picture books, and afterwards the family can head straight home to bed. It's a nice break from the usual evening routine.

Children are welcome to come in pajamas and wear a cape or costume on top. The dishes can wait. Pillows and stuffed animals are encouraged, so you can sit comfortably together with the children's librarian and other pajama-clad families.

The stories are roughly suited for children aged 4-8, but younger and older siblings are welcome to listen along. It's free, and no registration is required.

There is practical information about the venue that is good to know before your visit.
