Film Premiere of Nøjsomheden with Author Visit by Stine Askov

Glostrup Library and Glostrup Cinema invite you to the film premiere of Nøjsomheden on Monday, August 17, 6 p.m. to approximately 9:45 p.m.

The film follows Mona, who finds refuge in books from her childhood in the housing estate Nøjsomheden with her mother Mømmer, who suffers from hoarding disorder. When she gets a job at the local bookshop and falls in love with Nikolaj, a literature student from the city's affluent neighbourhood, the gap between his academic upper-class world and her chaotic everyday life becomes impossible to ignore.

Author Stine Askov opens the evening with a short lecture about the novel and the process of seeing it adapted into film. From 6 p.m., there is also a pop-up library with books on topics related to the film.
