Stine Askov is a Danish author who made her debut with the novel "Nøjsomheden", set in a housing estate in Helsingør and centred on a cast of unconventional characters and strong women. The book is being adapted for the screen by director Hella Joof, with a cinema release planned for autumn 2026.
