"Did You Also Wear Dranella?"

This lecture is aimed at women born after 1950 - those who at some point have worn clothes from the fashion brand Dranella.

Kirsten Slot from Thyborøn shares her personal story featured in the book about the fashion company, published in 2025. She appears this evening alongside one of the book's authors, historian and museum inspector at Museum Midtjylland Anne Julie Bibby, who tells the story of Dranella and how the company became an icon in Danish fashion history.

The lecture is richly illustrated with images from the book and the Textile Museum in Herning, which opened a special exhibition about Dranella in June 2025.
