Anne Julie Tscherning Bibby is a historian and museum curator at Museum Midtjylland, specialising in textile and cultural history. In December 2025 she co-authored "Dranella - et dansk modeeventyr" (Strandberg Publishing), a richly illustrated book tracing the fashion company Dranella, which transformed Danish ready-to-wear clothing from the late 1950s onwards, drawing on the museum's extensive collection of garments, fashion photographs and design sketches.
"Dranella - a Danish fashion tale", which Bibby is co-author of, is released on December 11, 2025 by Strandberg Publishing and receives four hearts in Politiken.
The book is reviewed positively on historie-online.dk, where the reviewer highlights Bibby's texts as lively and exciting writing.
POV International publishes a review of the book and describes it as "both the story of a company and of an era" with social changes in the post-war period.
"Dranella - a Danish fashion tale" is nominated for Book of the Year 2025 on historie-online.dk.
