Meet a Locally-Raised, Critically Acclaimed Author

Rasmus Daugbjerg, born in Lemvig, studied at writing schools in both Sweden and Copenhagen and is regarded as one of the most distinctive new voices in Danish literature. He returns home to Lemvig Library with his latest novel, "Rasmus Nielsøn", which draws on a historical source from the late 1500s.

The newspaper Information described the book as follows: "Rasmus Daugbjerg's new novel is so good that as a reader you can become a bit impatient and demanding."

The evening features a reading from the novel and a conversation about how Daugbjerg has worked with historical source material, myths and legends.
