Rasmus Daugbjerg (b. 1993) is a Danish author who grew up in Lemvig and trained at Biskops Arnö and the Danish Writers' School in Copenhagen. His novels - Rygtet (2021), Trold (2022) and Rasmus Nielsøn (2026) - draw on folklore, myth and saga to explore the climate and biodiversity crisis through a distinctly poetic, fairy-tale prose. His work has been translated into Norwegian, Swedish and English, and he has received the Michael Strunge Prize, the Mare Kandre Prize, a three-year grant from the Danish Arts Foundation, and in 2026 the inaugural Majprisen from Weekendavisen.
