K-pop Takes Over the World
Do you sing along to K-pop Demon Hunters and can't get enough of Korean pop culture? From BTS and BLACKPINK to Squid Game, ramen and kimchi - Korean culture is everywhere, and this afternoon is all about it.
The afternoon starts with a creative workshop from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, where you can make your own photocard holder and beads and meet other K-pop fans. Snacks and drinks are provided. From 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM, K-pop expert Signe Lilja gives the lecture "K-pop Takes Over the World", where she tells the story of K-pop and Hallyu - the Korean wave - and discusses emotionally charged drama series, strong fan communities and why K-pop fans are considered some of the most organized and engaged fan groups on the internet.
The event is aimed at children and young people, but everyone is welcome. It is free to participate, and the ticket covers both the workshop and the lecture. Remember to sign up and bring your K-pop pictures (or use the ones from the workshop).
