The World at Stake: Endless Wars in the Middle East with Jacob Kaarsbo

The USA and Israel have attacked Iran, which has since taken control of the strategically important Strait of Hormuz. Conflicts in Gaza, the West Bank, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, and Yemen continue, and Iran and Pakistan have exchanged missile strikes across their shared border. A possible peace plan is being developed - but what happens now, and what does it mean for Europe and Denmark?

Jacob Kaarsbo is an independent security policy advisor, commentator, and former chief analyst at the Danish Defence Intelligence Service (FE). As Middle East chief at FE, he has followed the region's conflicts since the early 2000s and has in-depth knowledge of all its actors. Drawing on his own experience in the region, he offers his assessment of how Denmark and Europe should respond to the challenges we face.
