Evening hike in Rebild Bakker with bonfire and Nordic literature

The tour begins with a hike to the top of Sønderkol - Rebild Bakker's highest southwest-facing viewpoint, 102 metres above sea level. From here there is a view towards the southwest and west down into the deep valley "Gryden" and across Gravlev Ådal. The sun sets at 16:13, so the group reaches the summit in the last daylight.

The route then descends the hillside and returns through "Gryden" to the bonfire site, where hot cocoa is served. In the twilight hour, passages are read from Jon Fosses' award-winning novel "Andvake" - this year's selected adult book for Nordic Literature Week.

Meeting point is at the entrance to the hills.
