August's Artist in the Dining Hall: Ole Hansen
Brønshøj Kulturhus, Copenhagen · Free
Ole Hansen is a local Brønshøj resident living near BRØK. His interest in art began early, and over the years he has exhibited his works in community centres, nursing homes, office buildings, construction companies, and trade unions.
In the early 1990s, Ole Hansen worked as an assistant to artist Poul Gernes, where he collaborated with students from the Royal Danish Academy on the iconic colour scheme of Palads Biografen. Alongside his artistic practice, he trained as a mason and has spent his career participating in the restoration of several historic buildings - including Amalienborg, Rosenborg, Nyboder, Børsen, and Kastellet.
Opening reception is Friday, August 7 at 4 p.m. The exhibition is open during the dining hall's regular hours.
