Open Reading Circle — Gellerup Bibliotek, Brabrand

Every month the reading circle meets in the Hjørnet room at Gellerup Library to discuss a novel - Tuesdays from 10:30 to 12:00.

These four books are on the programme in autumn:

- 25 August: "The Fall of the King" by Johannes V. Jensen
- 29 September: "Theft" by Abdulrazak Gurnah
- 27 October: "Baumgartner" by Paul Auster
- 24 November: "The Underground Railroad" by Colson Whitehead

The book can be picked up at the library four weeks before each meeting. Registration is done either directly at the library or via Rikke at riksma@aarhus.dk.

About the venue: Gellerup Bibliotek

Gellerup Bibliotek opened in December 2021 as part of the Sports- og Kulturcampus on Karen Blixens Boulevard in the Gellerupparken district. It operates as an open community centre where volunteers, local associations and staff jointly run activities ranging from creative workshops and a parents' café to communal singing and a makerspace. In 2022 it was nominated for the title of best public library of the year.
