Workshop: Crossed Stitches with Thea Vesterby

Thea Vesterby from VesterbyCrea teaches crossed stitches - a decorative knitting pattern with broad applications, known from her own designs and suitable for everything from socks and hats to sweaters and scarves.

During the workshop, Thea explains how the pattern is knitted back and forth, and how to handle increases and decreases as well as adapt it to different projects. All participants receive a manual and create their first swatch with the crossed pattern.

Remember to bring yarn for the swatch, circular needles in 3 mm or 4 mm, and stitch markers.

In 2023, Thea decided to make knit design her full-time work and runs VesterbyCrea independently - design, patterns, graphics, and marketing - with help from a dedicated test-knitting team to develop and quality-assure the patterns.
