Music House Brønshøj: Blues Caravan 2026 with Laura Chavez, Matthew Curry and Elise Lounici

Blues Caravan is Ruf Records' touring showcase that for 20 years has launched emerging blues stars - past participants include Samantha Fish, Ana Popovic and Joanne Shaw Taylor.

The 2026 lineup features three artists. American Laura Chavez is this year's most established: she has performed with Candye Kane, Nikki Hill, Vanessa Collier and Mitch Ryder, and in 2023 became the first woman ever to receive a Blues Music Award as Best Instrumentalist - Guitar. Fellow American Matthew Curry has toured North America for over a decade and has shared the stage with Peter Frampton, The Doobie Brothers, Blackberry Smoke and Steve Miller Band. French artist Elise Lounici represents the new generation of European blues musicians and has already performed at several major European blues festivals.

Each artist performs their own set, and the evening concludes with a joint finale where all three meet on stage.
