Late Summer Foraging Walk

Autumn is here - and so is the wild harvest. Berries, fruit, nuts and herbs are waiting to be found, and in the clear September light we venture out to the meadow to forage. Nature guide and forest ranger Jørgen Rye leads the walk, helping us discover what nature's pantry has to offer at this time of year. The walk ends with tea and tastings.

The event is arranged in collaboration with Kulturhuset Islands Brygge and Solvang Library.

Fælles Frø is a seed bank on Amager, found at Solvang Library, Kulturhuset Islands Brygge, Børnekulturhus Ama'r and Kvarterhuset. You can pick up seeds of native species for your garden or balcony - and in autumn, return seeds from flowering plants to the bank, contributing to biodiversity on Amager.
